Resolute makes history with new facility R
esolute is set to open the industry’s fi rst dedicated UK based research and development facility for direct to fi lm and direct to substrate. Following the move to its new purpose-built premises in March 2024, Resolute has acquired more space to allow global R&D director, Colin Marsh, to continue to innovate with the Resolute team and its partners. Mr Marsh said: “We have big plans for this new facility. This industry is growing at a phenomenal rate and Resolute have always been at the forefront of DTF. The new R&D premises will enable us to bring together the key industry players alongside our OEM partners to continue to push the possibilities and bring manufacturing back into the UK and USA for as many products as possible. The Printing Charity appoints first director of services in newly created position

Prior to the Printing Charity, Mr Ashcroft worked for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund as head of community welfare programmes, responsible for the delivery of a suite of welfare services including its relationship, counselling and welfare casework services; its Airplay youth work programme; and a community engagement and social inclusion programme.

Coloreel resumes operations under new ownership
C
oloreel is embarking on a new chapter as Coloreel International, with strong new ownership. Coloreel International will remain headquartered in Sweden. Operations will resume with a smaller, but highly dedicated team.
Previous owner of Coloreel, Coloreel Group, fi led for bankruptcy in July, citing an inability to develop business volume quickly enough and secure the necessary fi nancing.
Coloreel is an automatic thread colouring system. With Coloreel, any specifi c colour or colour gradient can be created according to customer’s needs, accurately and effi ciently from any digitsing software.
