Kingly launches employment program for individuals with intellectual disabilities A
groundbreaking initiative has been launched by Kingly aimed at
fostering inclusivity and creating meaningful opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
With the full support of the Bulgarian government, Kingly will welcome fi ve new team members to its zero-waste sock production facility. In collaboration with social enterprises Low Carb Factory and Labour Therapy LTD, the initiative will provide employment and labour rehabilitation for these individuals, integrating them into the production process. The new employees will play key roles in various stages of production, including sock boarding, assembling boxes, creating Christmas sock baubles, packaging, and counting pairs before delivery. businesses to embrace inclusivity in the workplace.

By empowering individuals with mental challenges, we are helping them fi nd purpose and independence within a supportive environment.”
The integration of these fi ve individuals began in mid-October, and both Kingly and its partners hope to set a positive example for other companies in Bulgaria and beyond. This initiative underscores the belief that sustainable business practices must include social responsibility, and Kingly is proud to lead by example.
