Hybrid Services becomes official printer partner of Crewe Alexandra FC H


ybrid Services has become the official printer partner of Crewe Alexandra


Football Club.


The company has signed a three- year deal with the League Two club to provide technology and expert support for its printing operations. With opportunities that include signage, first team and replica kits, awards and décor, Mimaki’s broad range of printing technology enables the club’s marketing team to investigate new creative avenues. Peter Mitchell, director at Hybrid Services, said: “We’re starting by decorating Crewe Alexandra’s large function suite, that has been renamed ‘The Hybrid Lounge’.


“As a showcase for both the club and the capabilities of Mimaki’s printing and cutting solutions, it’s the perfect opportunity to add some vibrant and engaging design to an area of the stadium that many visitors will see.”


Phil Thomas, director of Hybrid Services, said: “Hybrid has always had a strong connection with the


Crewe area, with its original offices located in neighbouring Nantwich, when the company was formed.

Hobkirk adds DTG and DTF to portfolio H


obkirk Sewing Machines, known for its range of Ricoma embroidery machines, has now added Ricoma direct to film and direct to garment printers to its product line up. It offers two DTF machines, the Revel Duo DTF-1202TA, which uses a 300mm film and the Revel DTF-2402T, which uses a 600mm film for higher producers. The Vision DTG/DTF Printer offers a 400x500mm printable area. Ricoma printers, heat presses and accessories are now on show in Hobkirk’s brand new print studio and available for demonstrations both in person and by video call. The team has received in depth training from Ricoma technicians supported by the CEO of Ricoma Europe, Messi Zhou.

he Big New Products Trade Show and The Big Wearables Trade Show took place on Wednesday, September 25 at Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire Cricket Club and was declared a success by suppliers and visitors alike. Steven Johnson of Indigo Promotions said: “It’s a great show, and a local one for us, so it’s a good chance to chat to suppliers and get to see what’s new in person.”


Exhibitor Andrew Williams of Laltex Group Promotional Merchandise added: “We’ve experienced a real rush on our stand this morning – it’s one of the biggest shows we do and it’s on home turf, which makes it even better!”
