FESPA Review

Ufabrik’s backlit textiles and blackback materials attracted by far the greatest interest, particularly because customers could see printed examples on the stand rather than viewing materials in isolation.

There was also signifi cant interest from new distributors looking to expand their portfolios with textile solutions, as well as from end customers, especially large print companies exploring cooperation with Ufabrik.

Overall, FESPA 2026 proved to be an important and highly productive platform for Ufabrik, strengthening existing conversations and opening up new opportunities across Europe.

This year at FESPA, InkTec were keen to celebrate its South Korean heritage and the depth of innovation, technology and creativity that it offers. Central to the stand were two key solutions: the JETRIX XAR320 Hybrid UV Printer and the JETRIX LXa6 UV Printer.

The XAR320 demonstrated its powerful hybrid capabilities, with production throughout the show illustrating its exceptional productivity across both rigid and roll substrates. Alongside, the compact yet robust LXa6 attracted attention for its fl exibility and reliability. Ideally suited for high-quality output for signage and graphics applications, with an optional roll-to-roll function to enhance its versatility.

A major highlight of the stand was the K PRINT Zone, bringing together contemporary Korean artistry and print technology. On display were a wide range of applications, from merchandise to creative display pieces, demonstrating how traditional Korean creativity can be transformed through modern print solutions. Refl ecting on the show, Julian Mennell, national hardware sales manager, said: “Yet again FESPA delivered. A large proportion of visitors primarily joined us to fi nd out more about the latest additions to the JETRIX printer series – the LXa6 and the XAR320 Hybrid UV printers. But the level of interest in the K-PRINT Zone was fantastic to see too.

“It was a great way to celebrate our South Korean heritage while showing how these creative infl uences translate into print.” “While still early days, the signs are good from the conversations since, with both customers and new people expressing an interest in coming to our UK headquarters for demonstrations. So, we are looking forward to seeing them over the next few weeks.”

It was all positive for Mimaki at FESPA this year as it used the event to demonstrate how digital printing technology can help businesses diversify their offerings, improve production fl exibility and unlock new growth opportunities.

Under the theme ‘Print different – powering possibilities’, the company transformed its stand into a series of application-focused experience areas, designed to showcase real-world production environments and highlight the practical benefi ts of its latest technologies across sign graphics, textiles, personalisation and industrial printing.

According to Mimaki, the event provided an ideal platform to engage directly with customers and demonstrate how innovation can support evolving business needs. Through live demonstrations, workfl ow showcases and a wide range of printed applications, visitors were able to explore new opportunities across multiple market segments.

One of the standout attractions on the stand was the international tradeshow debut of the UJ330H-160 hybrid UV printer. Designed to combine roll-to-roll and rigid printing capabilities within a single platform, the system attracted signifi cant interest from print businesses looking to expand application possibilities while maximising production effi ciency and fl oor space. Mimaki used the event to demonstrate how hybrid technology can support a broad range of applications, including signage, point-of-sale, display graphics, packaging and interior décor. The company also highlighted positive early customer feedback, with users praising the machine’s print quality, reliability and ability to deliver consistent results across a variety of media types. Another major launch was the international debut of the UJV200 Series. Developed to make UV roll-to-roll printing more accessible, the printer offers the creative fl exibility associated with UV technology while maintaining the image quality for which Mimaki is known. The company believes the system will appeal to businesses looking to expand into new applications while keeping investment requirements manageable.
