astex International has announced the hiring of its new director of technical
marketing.
He will now be responsible for for marketing of Vastex products to customers in 50 countries through a worldwide dealer network, including management of the company’s advertising and public relations programmes, and serving as a key technical adviser to the sales department. Mr Zingone’s previous experience has led him to work closely with hundreds of new and existing shops from beginners to large commercial operations, and he has shared his knowledge through imprinted sportswear publications, how-to printing videos, and Vastex trade shows nationally and internationally.
ESPA has paid tribute to former president Anders Nilsson following his death.
Mr Nilsson served as FESPA president between 2007 and 2010, overseeing a period of growth that saw the organisation expand its association network internationally while continuing to embrace emerging digital print technologies.
He was also the owner and CEO of Gamleby Screen AB, a Swedish large-format printing business. His practical industry experience helped inform his leadership of FESPA during a transformative period for wide-format printing.
Following his presidency, Mr Nilsson continued to support the organisation as Asia ambassador, helping to strengthen
relationships with associations and partners across the region.
In a statement, FESPA President Daniel Sunderland said: “Anders was a dear friend loved by everyone, who made a lasting contribution to FESPA in what was an exciting and transformative period for our organisation. “His ability to connect with people across various regions helped to form the FESPA that we know today. Anders will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him and working with him.”
Mr Nilsson remained involved with FESPA Sweden for more than three decades and was named Honorary Chair in 2023. He is remembered throughout the industry for his leadership, warmth and ability to bring people together.

on customer service and industry expertise. Their knowledge of the market, commitment to customers and ability to build lasting relationships have helped support both Prestige Leisure’s success and that of its customers.
Ms Weightman said about the milestone: “What has made my journey at Prestige so special is the people, the friendships, teamwork, and shared commitment to growing the business together. “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and grateful to have been part of such an amazing team for two decades.”
