P&P LIVE! 2024
A national meeting point for the industry!
We caught up with new exhibitor Kit Builder, ahead of the 2024 edition of P&P LIVE!
Q. Why have you decided to exhibit for the first time at the show?
We attended the event last year as visitors and had a really great experience. Bringing Kit Builder to the exhibition arena is a new venture for us and we felt that P&P LIVE! was a great addition. It’s great to be able to meet so many people in the industry and spread the word about Kit Builder to new audiences.
Q. Why did you choose Printwear & Promotion LIVE!?
Whilst P&P LIVE! is a local show for us, it’s also a national meeting point for the industry. It’s great to build connections and relationships within the local industry, as well as meeting new people from further afi eld.
Q. What do you expect to gain from the show? Our goal for the show is to introduce Kit Builder and 3D customisation to a larger audience. Our software offers a solution for both big and smaller companies alike. We’re looking to expand our network and keep up to date on the newest innovations in the industry.
K
it Builder is an advanced on-demand 3D customisation SaaS platform, that helps customers all over the globe capitalise on the trend for individualisation. Using advanced 3D graphics, Kit Builder allows customers to create bespoke, interactive products.
Founded in 2003 by Michael Britton, Kit Builder is now a thriving and innovative business. The company fi rst started as a web design agency (Magnetize), primarily focused on the sports industry. Soon one of our clients, started to express an interest in automating the customisation of team kits, removing the need for manual sketching and the time that it involved. They approached Michael and it was from these collaborations the original product customiser was born.
Developed in Flash originally and in 2D the Kit Builder soon became a hit with sports companies across the UK. Mikes passion for keeping the technology current and relevant meant he was soon working in 3D and developing a SaaS platform. Subsequently Kit Builder is now providing solutions to hundreds of brand owners and manufacturers across the globe. The Kit Builder team works closely with clients and their needs and as a result Kit Builder has grown with the ever-evolving individualisation industry. The software is fully fl exible and can now integrate with ecommerce systems and produce on-demand, multi-sized, ready-to-print fi les in a fully automated system.

Q. What can visitors expect to see on your stand at the show?
Visitors can experience Kit Builder for themselves on our touchscreen monitors – they design their own products with ease. Our showcase will have a range of clothing and promotional models on that people can explore. We’ll also be showcasing our new product – Squad Stores. Squad Stores is Kit Builder for squads. It’d a controlled, simplifi ed version of Kit Builder that allows you to open specifi c stores for individual clients. You can add set designs to these stores and allow customers to edit only selected options– it’s great for team kits and merch drops alike!
Q. Why should visitors visit you at the show? Kit Builder is a great innovated solution that engages your customers and increases sales and retention. With a change in how people shop, it has never been more important to interact with customers online. Brand owners, by creating an immersive 3D design experience, not only engage customers with their brand, but also create the desire for them to return, increasing loyalty.
The ability for customers to share designs with others via social media, creates further interest and sales, whilst also helping to raise your brand awareness.
