Ricoh Ricoh Ri 100
Produce high-quality merchandise in-house
The Ricoh Ri 100 is a compact four-colour direct to garment printer. It uses Ricoh’s proven inkjet technology to print high-quality colour images onto white and lightly coloured garments, including T shirts, cushion covers and tote bags.
Instead of outsourcing garment decoration, retailers, fashion outlets and craft businesses can produce high-quality merchandise in-house, which have a soft fi nish and range of vivid colours.
Perfect for short run applications, the digital process enables garments to be individually personalised. The intuitive Windows/ Mac-based design application lets users insert images into a host of pre-set templates and overlay graphics with text.
Garment designs can be previewed and once approved printed directly to the Ri 100. As a result, Ricoh’s intuitive garment design software, bundled free with the Ri 100, is ideal for creating eye-catching designs. Ricoh’s water-based pigment inks leave garments feeling soft and produce long-lasting colour images as they are absorbed into the fabric. They are also non-toxic and do not emit noxious fumes when being cured. The fi nished garments meet the human-ecological requirements of Oeko-Tex Standard 100, for textiles making direct contact with the skin. The Ri 100 has an integral heating system that is also offered as an option, which can be used to press and cure printed garments ready for sale. The compact, all-in-one system, can be positioned on a counter, enabling businesses to produce and sell high-quality, personalised merchandise on-demand. Regardless of whatever trendy, beautiful or bespoke products being made, the Ricoh direct to garment printing system will add value and appeal.
