Instagram Advice
Now if you don’t use Instagram stories and it’s because of fear… or lack of knowledge… or lack of time, that’s okay! The best way to figure out how to Instagram stories is by using it. The more you use it and play around on it and experiment with the different features, the easier it will get to use. It doesn’t have to be complicated. You can learn along the way!
Instagram stories is mostly effective when used daily, and just by using it daily you will find yourself feeling more confident using it. Instagram stories are so quick to create, it takes less than five minutes to create a story. They are a great way for your audience to view content as they can be flicked through, unlike your feed where someone has to scroll and then read the caption. As Instagram stories are viewed more, there is a higher chance of your content reaching and being viewed by audiences that wouldn’t otherwise come across your account. Posting on Instagram stories doesn’t always have to be about creating something different, it can be kept straightforward and simple… just by learning the basic features you are able to create stories that people will
view. A few simple posts on your story are better than no posts! If you are unsure of what to post on your story, it can be anything you would like to share, it could be anything from documenting your day-to-day life, behind the scenes of your business and even introducing yourself so that people know the face behind the business! This can help to connect with your audience on a more personal level. You would be surprised at how much people enjoy seeing what others get up to in their day. If you want to engage with your audience then Instagram stories is the way to do it. It has so many fun features such as poll stickers… sliding emoji scale… question stickers… the list can go on! These are the types of features that will get your audience engaging with your account. Simply by asking questions and having polls you can get to know your followers. And last but certainly not least Insights.
Insights
Instagram Insights brings together data from across your Instagram account so that you can better understand your ideal client’s behaviour through their interaction with your business and
then provide content that they enjoy engaging with.
Data and analytics help you measure the impact of your marketing efforts across different channels to see if there’s something you need to do differently – like target a different audience, post at a certain time of day, or experiment with a new content format.
Instagram marketing isn’t any different from other aspects of your marketing in the sense that it can be measured and improved upon. That’s why you’ll be able to create a more effective Instagram strategy using Instagram Insights.
To use Instagram Insights, you must first have a business profile. The good news? If you’re already using a personal account, you can switch to a business profile right from your phone. The data you are able to view can also depend on the account type you’ve chosen whether it’s Personal, Creator or Business.
If you’ve just created a brand new account for your business then you will need to gain at least 100 followers before unlocking your Instagram Insights. This magic number gives the platform enough of a chance to collect data it can start reporting back to you.
