offers a much wider colour gamut and is a high performance DTG printer suitable for industrial printing applications. Over on the Amaya Sales UK stand, the Texjet NG range of direct to garment printers from Polyprint were on display. These are heavy duty printers with a choice of three models; the NG120, NG130 and NG140. Users have the choice of three different printing speeds and a large print area of up to 50x70cm.
Also on stand was the Uninet IColor 540 white toner printer, which was shown for the very first time at the exhibition. This A4 printer gives you an economical way of printing full colour prints and dark or light coloured textiles and hard substrates.
Visitors were also able to view the Kornit Atlas Max industrial DTG printer with built in pre-treatment. This printer sets the new standard for high volume, on-demand printing. Users will be able to gain a competitive advantage and offer a wider set of improved capabilities, including Kornit’s XDi 3D decorations. The Mutoh XpertJet 1341 WR Pro received its exhibition debut to much interest on the Nova Chrome UK stand. This 54in dye sublimation printer uses Mutoh’s own DS3 ‘Allround’ sublimation inks and offers superior build quality, and fast, high quality print speeds. Printed sample transfers were available on the company’s stand. Impressing visitors with its print quality and speed on the Xpres stand was the Aeoon Kyo Link industrial DTG machine. This high production printer can print up to 180 pieces an hour and includes an integrated heat press for pre-treated T shirts. This was the first public showing in the UK for this DTG printer.
Screen printing…
Despite all of the advancements in digital print technology present at P&P LIVE!, screen printers were still able to see new equipment on display.
Screen Print World had on display the Copperhead Rival from M&R. These presses are the benchmark in automatic screen printing presses, combining highest quality components, leading-class craftsmanship and high-speed production to create an outstanding press at an affordable price. An electric indexing system enables extremely smooth and quiet operation, while electric print heads, tool-free squeegee/ floodbar adjustment, pneumatic screen frame clamps and independent squeegee/ flood speeds provide operators with all the time-saving features needed for quick setups.
Also on stand was the Copperhead Charge; an electric conveyor dryer. The unique design can easily cure water-based, plastisol and DTG prints with its advanced airflow system and edge-to-edge heat chamber. It’s ideal for business start-ups or medium-sized print shops as it can handle all your curing needs.
Visitors to the H.G. Kippax & Sons were able to see three pieces of screen printing equipment on display. The Anatol Thunder six-colour six-station industrial-grade manual screen printing machine was shown in conjunction with the Comet Light flash cure unit also from Anatol. The Thunder is one of the most durable manual screen printing machines on the market. Also on stand was the Anatol Solutions Series electric conveyor dryer. The model on display was the 24in
