Celebrating Who’s Next When the Sky is the Limit
Susan Storey reports on Skyline Attractions’ SKYnext – an event that shows young professionals the incredible variety of career paths and experiences that are available in the attractions industry.

ocusing on the next generation of professionals and employees is not typically something that is top of mind when starting a
new business. For Skyline Attractions, an amusement rides manufacturer and designer, that focus is both a core value and business goal. Since its founding in 2014, Skyline Attractions has embraced investing there were not a lot of companies or organizations that offered opportunities for students and young professionals to see the types of roles our industry networking events and scholarships, but we wanted to show the incredible variety of career paths and experiences that are available in this incredible

SKYnext, attendees had to apply, sharing why they wanted they wished to attend. In addition, they were responsible for their own travel. SKYline helped coordinate shared hotel accommodations and provided meals to students to help keep their costs many different areas of interest. Majors included Management. Several came having already taken part in internships with industry companies including possible similar opportunities, and advice and ideas for their futures.
SKYnext to have the opportunity to meet industry professionals and to further her knowledge about its size and scope. She also wanted to connect with those who were already established in their enlightening to hear from speakers with different
backgrounds in the themed entertainment industry and learn about their career paths and experiences. She also recognized previous SKYnext speakers,
engineer; to be in a field that did not have many industry is awesome, and I see significantly more women in engineering roles here than in any other
engineer, Skyline Attractions, said it is reactions like Skyline Attractions. SKYnext has been our way to do that. Students from 28 colleges took part this year. Mullins coordinates the event, and each year
