The “Best Large Park“ category is a cherished award category, which is most certainly decided by the complete guest experience from the time they arrive until they leave. It is a goal here at Europa-Park that every year we take that total guest experience up from the smallest detail to the biggest.
This year, it might have been enough to premier our new themed area - Croatia - and its over-the-top crowd favourite and “Tirol Log Flume” are back and highly re-imagined as a ride and hiking experience through the Alps. But as Europa-Park approaches its 50th anniversary, the Mack family is looking forward to delivering even more world-class experiences as well as big and small improvements to all guests.
In the years 2023 and 2024, the investment made by the Mack family is reaching a high double-digit million Euro amount only in the construction sector. During the closing period 2023/24, more than 700 craftsmen have been working on over 40 construction sites in and around Europa-Park. As a result of these new projects, Europa-Park is not only offering additional attractions and quality to the visitors, but also 120 new jobs are created in addition to the 5,000 already existing jobs.

But depicting it in miniature on just 70 square meters was yet another new challenge for our model city in the form of the Fairmont Hotel and the Oceanarium were of course a must. A lot of love went into the detailed elaboration and the almost perfect condition of the buildings. Where otherwise great effort is often made to age house walls or roofs, giving the impression of decades of dirt, the aim here was to give them an authentic yet not sterile character.
The absolute highlight of Monaco is the Formula 1 circuit, a version of which has been in the works for eleven years. As in the large original, the Formula E race in Monte Carlo is also held alternately on a scale of 1:87.
Best Dark Ride or Media Based Experience Coral Kingdom

This one-of-a-kind experience combines the beauty of a real coral reef with groundbreaking immersive media content. By extending the new Coral Kingdom Aquarium at Loro Parque with projections on the ceiling and an LED floor, guests are surrounded by stunning 360-degree views of corals and their inhabitants in both real and digital forms. This advanced media integration creates the sensation of being underwater in this vibrant kingdom, setting it apart as a truly unique attraction. Attraktion! designed, developed and built the whole immersive experience for Loro Parque including full media and music production. Guests step onto a moving walkway and ride for seven minutes along the aquarium tank, accompanied by a unique song about the beauty of the ocean, available in English, German, and Spanish. The media content enhances the real aquarium with elements that cannot be shown in real life, such as gigantic waves, whales, dolphins, and
