Welcome to our latest issue!

The season is heating up and so is the weather! We’ve been enjoying a heatwave in recent weeks - so our cover story is rather fitting! Lots of us have very fond childhood memories of water rides as a summertime staple. Check out pages 24-27 to read why they make the perfect addition to a park.

Susan Storey continues our watery theme on pages 22-23 with her piece on Pipeline: The Surf Coaster, SeaWorld Orlando’s gnarly new launched roller coaster which sees riders surfing the skies at 110 feet. We explore the brand-new World of Jumanji on pages 20-21 as creative lead for the project, John Burton, takes us on a tour of this new land - including its signature ride, Mandrill Mayhem. This roller coaster isn’t monkeying around - it’s not for the faint of heart. Other interviews in this month’s issue include a sit down with Stefan Rothaug from Brogent on page 36, while Triotech’s Christian Martin has more on the latest from the media-based ride manufacturer on page 37.

THIS MONTH’S COVER SHOT:

P30

This month’s feature is Ticketing, Access & Control (pages 31-33) and we’re building on this by putting attraction management platform Convious in the spotlight on pages 34-35.

And it’s the biggest event on the calendar for the Asian amusement and attractions industry - we have more on IAAPA Expo Asia 2023 on pages 38-39.

Enjoy! Charlotte
