Starting from humble beginnings, SBF-VISA Group has enjoyed more
M
ore than merely a manufacturer, SBF-VISA Group positions itself as an innovator and creator, delivering, as stated on its website, ‘concepts for everyone’. And it’s a statement that holds very true
indeed. Headquartered in Casale di Scodosia in the Province of Padua in northern Italy, SBF-VISA Group offers a huge range of rides across four categories - thrill rides, themed rides, family rides and children’s rides - and beyond this, SBF-VISA Group works with its clients to create custom rides that perfectly meet their requirements. Italo Frison started SBF over half a century ago in 1952. Possessing a
skilled hand and a passion for the amusement and attractions industry, it all began with a bumper car. From such small beginnings, this same skill and passion has carried through to the SBF-VISA Group of today and has been instrumental in the growth of the business along the way, to become what is now one of largest amusement ride manufacturers. SBF-VISA Group offers an immense total of 350 rides from which to
choose, and despite this impressive catalogue, it continues to develop new ideas and set the standards for quality and innovation across industry. Between its thrill rides, family rides, themed rides and children’s rides, SBF- VISA Group is perfectly positioned to provide the right ride for its clients - and if they cannot find the perfect fit then its custom rides are the solution. The manufacturer has highly skilled teams within its engineering, design,
and art departments which work together with clients to create exactly the right ride experience for their requirements. For example, whether it is a park model or a trailer-mounted ride, SBF-VISA Group offers clients the ability to customise their ride with their choice of colours and artwork in order to make it a uniquely themed attraction. Any operator knows that the impact of theming should not be underestimated, no matter how thrilling the ride itself is. Strong theming is the difference between generic and memorable - not to mention it enables clients to ensure a ride fits with any existing theming across other attractions for aesthetic harmony. SBF-VISA Group is a full service manufacturing and design facility with a
20
reputation worldwide as an industry leader in the production of some of the most successful amusement rides. The company’s products operate in many of the world's top amusement facilities all over the globe. Beyond its status as a full service manufacturer with a passion for providing
its clients with custom attractions, the ongoing success of SBF-VISA Group is also attributable to the fact that it manufactures its rides using the latest, state of the art technology, in combination with the highest quality parts and components to provide years of performance with an absolute minimum of down time. SBF-VISA Group ensures that it maintains production standards that comply with EN, TUV, and STM requirements where applicable. While it is committed to creating rides which deliver on thrills and fun, safety and reliability are the foundation.
The production process SBF-VISA Group operates from its headquarters in northern Italy, where it presides over 20,000 square metres of manufacturing facilities. From here, the company manufactures and tests each and every one of its rides that it produces for use all over the world. Be it a children’s ride or a roller coaster, SBF-VISA Group employs a rigorous quality control and testing process to ensure that any attraction leaving its facility meets the required standards and is worthy of bearing the SBF-VISA Group name. From start to finish, the work of SBF-VISA Group is performed in-house.
With a dedicated department for each and every stage of the design, production and testing process, there is simply no need for the business to outsource. All of SBF-VISA Group’s designers and engineers are based on site, and are therefore able to control and monitor all steps of the manufacturing process every step of the way. SBF-VISA Group has experienced increasing demand for its products and
the company is therefore expanding its production facilities to keep up with demand, ensuring that it will be able to continue to offer clients this same high-quality, full, in-house service they have come to expect.
