Ice Cream Farm in Cheshire partners with Vennersys

C

heshire-based family attraction and Guinness World Record holder, the Ice Cream Farm, has partnered with attraction management and solutions provider, Vennersys.alongside their favourite Pixar characters - and many other surprises, the Grand Finale of Disneyland Paris’ 30th anniversary is a celebration not to be missed.

Recognised as the largest ice cream shop in the world and as having the biggest sand and water play area in Europe, the Ice Cream Farm welcomes more than 400,000 visitors every year.

It caters to families and visitors from across the UK and has invested more than £5 million into the complete re-development of its site since 2015. The farm offers more than 50 unique flavours of ice cream to choose from, all produced on site with the milk from the cows in surrounding fields. The farm’s new business partner, Vennersys, is the developer behind the VenposCloud visitor attraction management and ticketing solution. VenposCloud is designed to make the operation of visitor attractions simpler and easier, making every aspect of attraction management available in one place, while also helping businesses advertise themselves and increase revenue. Prior to their partnership with Vennersys, the Ice Cream Farm operated two separate management systems which could not sync with one another. This meant day-to-day duties were made more difficult and time consuming than they needed to be.

It is expected that the adoption of the VenposCloud system will make site- wide management much simpler under a single system while helping to increase visitor footfall and customer satisfaction.

Vennersys already works with several similar attractions across the UK and is excited to provide the Ice Cream Farm with its new, integrated visitor

management system.

Jonathan Fell, managing director of the Ice Cream Farm, said: “We’re really excited about how the VenposCloud system will help to streamline our day-to- day processes, but even more so about the potential for this partnership to grow in the future.

“We know that Vennersys are a company who are committed to constant growth and re-investment, so we hope that this is just the start of a long and very beneficial relationship.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach celebrated High Adventure Experiences winning Best Experience at the Lancashire Tourism Awards by taking the trophy up 420 steps to a height of 235ft - to the very top of the UK’s tallest roller coaster, The Big One.

High Adventure Experiences take participants on guided tours of some of Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s tallest coasters, covering many ups and downs and exploring parts of the ride that most visitors will have never been before.

High Adventure Experiences is the collective name for three separate thrilling experiences: Walk The Big One, Walk The Woodie and Walk The Big One XL. Walk The Big One offers guests the chance to walk 235ft to the top of the UK’s tallest roller coaster and enjoy the breath-taking

With Walk The Big One XL, as well as climbing the 420 steps to the top of The Big One, participants will also get the chance to explore the ride’s maintenance area and get a better insight into how it works. They will also have the chance to climb up two exciting new points on the ride where they will experience unique views of the ride, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and the stunning seafront.

Walk The Woodie 100 is an exhilarating experience where guests have the chance to walk up the lift hill of the park’s oldest roller coaster, The Big Dipper. As well as experiencing amazing views, participants can find out more about the ride’s history. This experience is particularly special as the ride celebrates its centenary in August 2023. Each High Adventure Experience is run by members of Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s

ride operations team who will guide guests through the experience, share fascinating facts and stories about the rides, and also share a few interesting tales about their time working at the famous amusement park.
