Q&A – PLAY’N GO

This wasn’t simply a strategic decision. It required a cultural shift across the company. Our development teams, commercial teams and support functions all had to embrace a new challenge. There was a willingness across the business to step into unfamiliar territory, learn new things and contribute to a shared vision. The timing felt right because we entered from a position of strength. We have a portfolio of more than 400 games, globally recognised brands and deep experience operating in regulated markets around the world.

At the same time, casino operators are increasingly looking for ways to engage digitally native audiences. That creates a natural opportunity to bring together digital and land-based entertainment in a way that benefi ts both players and operators.

M: What are the main challenges? S: The challenge is understanding that digital and physical gaming are very

different experiences. Online, a player is already engaged when they launch a game. In a casino, we have to earn that engagement. The presentation, the cabinet, the lighting, the visuals and the overall experience all play a role in attracting a player’s attention.

Once they’ve chosen to play, our responsibility is exactly the same as it is online: deliver an experience that feels worthwhile. Win or lose, if a player walks away feeling entertained, we’ve done our job. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to. At the same time, we can’t lose sight of who we are. We’re a content company fi rst and foremost. The opportunity is taking everything we’ve learned from digital gaming and applying it to the physical world while remaining true to the principles that made Play’n GO successful in the fi rst place.

M: What else can we expect from you for the rest of 2026? S: The rest of 2026 is about continuing to build momentum behind the progress we’ve already made.

We’ll continue strengthening our relationship with Genting while expanding our network of strategic partnerships in key markets around the world.

A major focus is continuing to blur the lines between digital and land-based entertainment. Players don’t think in channels. They don’t wake up in the morning deciding whether they’re an online player or a land-based player. They’re simply looking for great entertainment experiences, and we believe the industry should think more like they do. You’ll also see us continue investing in the technology behind our content. Great games will always be central to what we do, but we’re equally excited by the opportunities to

create additional player engagement through tournaments, jackpots, promotional tools and other innovations that help operators attract and retain audiences.

OCTOBER 2026 11

Most importantly, we’re focused on helping grow the overall opportunity for our operator partners. Success isn’t about moving players from one machine to another. It’s about creating experiences that encourage more people to engage with casino entertainment and generate incremental value for operators and their businesses.

M: Any plans beyond this year that you can share with us? S: Our long-term ambition is to be a leading provider of regulated gaming entertainment, regardless of whether players engage with us through digital channels or land-based venues. Looking beyond 2026, I think we’re entering a fascinating period for entertainment as a whole. Technology continues to reshape how people spend their time, how they consume content and how they interact with brands. The companies that succeed will be the ones that consistently earn and retain attention by delivering compelling experiences.

That’s how we think about Play’n GO. At our core, we’re an entertainment company. If a player chooses to spend their time and money with one of our products, whether that’s online or on a casino fl oor, we have a responsibility to make that experience worthwhile.

We’ll continue investing in great content, innovative technology and new ways to engage players while expanding our land-based presence globally through the right partnerships and opportunities. We remain at the beginning of that journey, but we’re incredibly excited about what comes next.

Our objective isn’t simply to participate in the future of gaming; it’s to help shape it by bringing together great content, great technology and great entertainment experiences wherever players choose to engage with them.
