IGT appoints Mark Wadley as incoming President of land-based gaming


IGT has appointed Mark Wadley as incoming President of its land-based gaming division, subject to regulatory approvals. Wadley will oversee the company’s global land-based operations, including sales, product management, manufacturing,


marketing and government relations, reporting to CEO Hector Fernandez.


He joins from a senior role at a competing supplier, where he led marketing strategy and commercial development.


Fernandez said the appointment supports IGT’s objective of aligning product, customer insight and commercial execution under a single leadership structure.


Wadley said the focus would be on improving operational discipline and consistency in how products are developed and delivered to customers. His remit includes strengthening performance across IGT’s land-based portfolio while maintaining its global customer relationships and market position.


Merkur Gaming highlights regional portfolio at GAT Expo Cartagena


Merkur Gaming presented a range of products tailored to Latin American markets at the GAT Expo in Cartagena.


The company exhibited alongside Merkur Gaming Peru, Merkur Gaming Colombia and ETG specialist Spintec, with a focus on cabinet


developments and linked gaming content. Among the products shown was the Mod Ex J55 cabinet, supported by a portfolio of titles including Glory of Giza, Wild Temple, Paw Link and Dimension Link. Spintec complemented the stand with electronic table gaming and live solutions.


Ronald Díaz, General Manager of Merkur Gaming Peru, said the event provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with regional partners while gathering feedback on product performance.

Study ranks Lucky Eagle Casino as Washington State’s highest-rated venue for ‘lucky’ wins


Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel has been ranked the highest-performing casino in Washington State for ‘lucky’ player experiences, according to a study by Gambling.com.


The research analysed Tripadvisor reviews for keywords including “lucky”, “win” and “winning”, calculating a ‘Lucky Review Percentage’ for each venue. Lucky Eagle recorded a score of 43.5%, ahead of Ilani Casino Resort on 29.6% and Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino on 27.2%.


The study also placed Yakama Nation Legends Casino and Muckleshoot Casino in fourth and fi fth positions respectively.


Washington’s tribal casino sector comprises a wide range of properties across the state and plays a signifi cant role in local economies through employment and revenue generation.

Yaamava’ Resort & Casino records third $1m jackpot of 2026


Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel has awarded its third jackpot exceeding $1m in 2026, following a win on a Dragon Link slot machine. The jackpot, triggered by a $50 bet, was awarded on 29 March and forms part of a series of high-value payouts on the Dragon Link product line at the property. Kenji Hall, General Manager, said the milestone refl ects continued player engagement during the resort’s 40th anniversary year.


The venue operates more than 7,500 slot machines, including


multiple high-limit Dragon Link installations offering jackpots of up to $2m.


Yaamava’ said it continues to run a programme of promotional activity throughout the year, including high-value prize draws and loyalty initiatives aimed at maintaining player interest.

Zitro has held its fi rst ‘Zitro Experience’ event in Colombia, bringing together regional operators in Bogotá.


The event showcased the company’s product portfolio, including the GLARE and CONCEPT lines, alongside its FANTASY cabinet and digital offering. Zitro Digital also presented its latest online content as part of the programme.


Alejandra Burato, Regional Director for Latin America, said the event provided an opportunity to engage directly with customers and present developments tailored to the Colombian market. Zitro said attendance exceeded expectations,


refl ecting growing demand for its products in the region.


The company plans to continue the format with future events, including a forthcoming edition in Peru, as it expands its presence across Latin America.
