Gran Casino Talca, reclamando la anulación de la adjudicación de licencias de los casinos municipales. Existen otros líos judiciales donde se menciona que las empresas Dreams y Enjoy, supuestamente se han coludido en el caso de las licencias, por lo cual la pretendida fusión entre estas empresas ha llegado truncarse, como reportamos líneas abajo. Pero eso no detiene a los eventos que se vienen: el GCS programado para el Hotel Atlantis en Las Bahamas para inicios de mayo; AINSWORTH tiene un evento privado en el W Reforma de México DF el 9 de mayo para sus clientes mexicanos; y después, se viene la Cumbre Iberoamericana del Juego, los días 16 y 17 de mayo en Panamá. Es decir, la industria latinoamericana del Juego sigue viento en popa, y si no coincidimos en los tres eventos, pues en uno de ellos será. ¡Alla nos vemos!

BRASIL El Gobierno emitirá MP para regular apuestas deportivas
El gobierno del Presidente Lula emitirá una Medida Provisional (MP) para regular el mercado de apuestas deportivas en Brasil, con previsión para la recaudación de impuestos y estableciendo el reglamento para operar las apuestas deportivas online en Brasil. Las directrices de la MP fueron presentadas el miércoles 12 de abril en el debate en la Comisión de Finanzas e Impuestos de la Cámara de Diputados. Según la Agencia de Noticias de la Cámara de Diputados, el asesor especial José Francisco Manssur, representante del Ministerio de Hacienda en la audiencia pública, la medida provisional requerirá un capital mínimo a los operadores de las apuestas, quienes también deberán pagar las ciertas subvenciones, además de mantener un domicilio fiscal en Brasil donde deben asignar parte de los equipos y estructura de operaciones. Las apuestas
deportivas fueron creadas por la Ley 13.756/18, para aumentar la recaudación de dinero para ser destinado a la seguridad pública. Esta norma daba un plazo de dos años, prorrogables por otros dos, para la regulación de la ley por el Poder Ejecutivo. Sin embargo, el gobierno de Bolsonaro no cumplió y terminó abandonando la legislación. Ahora, según el asesor del Tesoro, el Ministerio Público y el

BRAZIL Government to issue MP to regulate sports betting
The government of President Lula will issue a Provisional Measure (MP) to regulate the sports betting market in Brazil, with provisions for tax collection and establishing the regulations to operate online sports betting in the country. The MP guidelines were presented on Wednesday 12 April in the debate by the Finance and Tax Commission of the House of Representatives.
According to the House Representatives News Agency, special advisor José Francisco Manssur, representative of the Ministry of Finance at the public hearing, the provisional measure will require from online sports betting operators a minimum capital, as well as payment of certain subsidies, in addition to
maintaining a fiscal domicile in Brazil where they must set up an operating structure to include the required equipment. Sports betting
was created by Law 13.756/18 to increase revenue collection to be
destined to public safety. The norm had a period of two years, extendable for another two, for regulations of the law to be set up by the Executive. However, the Bolsonaro government did not comply and ended up abandoning the approved legislation. Now, according to the advisor to the Treasury, the Public
