Betby achieves GLI certifi cation for sportsbook solution in Peru

With the Peruvian government formalising its regulated sports betting framework, GLI
certifi cation has emerged as a crucial requirement for providers aiming to serve licensed operators in the country. Betby is now authorised to deliver its innovative and tailored sportsbook solutions in Peru’s rapidly expanding regulated betting market. GLI’s certifi cation, recognised as a benchmark for excellence, validates Betby’s ability to meet Peru’s strict technical requirements, including those related to sportsbook functionality, information security management systems, and information security standards. Peru’s regulatory framework is primarily based on GLI-33 certifi cation, which Betby successfully achieved in early 2025. As a result, the company was well-positioned to swiftly meet the country’s latest betting compliance standards.

The European Gaming and Amusement Federation (EUROMAT) held its AGM in Brussels, Belgium, where members unanimously re-elected Jason Frost as President and Uwe Christiansen as First Vice- President. Karoly Buzás from the Romanian Slot Operators’ Association (ROMSLOT) has been elected as Treasurer of the association. Damien McCoy of the Irish Amusement Trades Association (IATA) and Bernhard Teuchman of the Spanish association Club de Convergentes as Executive Board Members. In addition, it welcomed the Association of Organizers of Gambling Games and Activities in Bulgaria (AOGGAB) as a new Association Member, along with Aristocrat and sigma as new Corporate Members.
