El gobernador de Córdoba adelanta licitación de slots
En una conferencia de prensa, en la primera semana de diciembre, el gobernador de la Provincia de Córdoba, Martín Llaryora adelantó en tres años la licitación de máquinas tragamonedas (Slots), con la presencia del intendente de Alta Gracia, Marcos Torres Lima; el Cruz del Eje, Renato Raschetti, y del Secretario de Gobierno de Córdoba, Augusto Pastore.
El gobernador Llaryora hizo el anuncio del nuevo llamado a licitación de slots en espacios de diferentes ciudades del interior provincial, con el objetivo de “potenciarlas económicamente y darles un nuevo impulso turístico”. La idea de Lotería de Córdoba es promover inversiones privadas en esas ciudades del interior provincial. Se trata de un proceso que incluirá la concesión de hoteles, casinos y máquinas de juegos, bajo una nueva concesión por el plazo de25 años.
La actual concesión a favor del consorcio CET termina en el 2027, pero desde el Gobierno de Córdoba se ha adelantado los plazos por “incumplimientos al contrato”, según explicaron. El convenio fue firmado en 2002, por 20 años, y prorrogado en diciembre pasado por el exgobernador Juan Schiaretti por cinco años adicionales. La Lotería de Córdoba indicó que “ya se ha ejecutado el 90% del tiempo estipulado de las anteriores concesiones” y empezó a desplazar al concesionario con una licitación para “inversiones de infraestructura turística y de esparcimiento en las ciudades de Alta Gracia, Río Ceballos y Cruz del Eje”. El “esparcimiento” tiene como eje los slots o máquinas tragamonedas.

The Córdoba Governor brings forward Slots ops tender
In a press conference, the governor of Argentina Province of Córdoba, Martín Llaryora, announced that he was bringing forward the tender for slot machines by three years.
Governor Llaryora said that the new call for the Slots tenders will be for different cities in the interior of the province, with the aim of “enhancing them economically and giving them a new tourist boost.” The idea of Lotería de Córdoba, Provincial operator, is to promote private investments in those cities in a process that will include concession of hotels, casinos and gaming machines for periods of 25 years. The current concession in Favor of the CET consortium ends in 2027, but the Government of Córdoba has brought forward the deadlines for “breaches of contract”, as they explained. The agreement was signed in 2002, for 20 years, and extended last December by former governor Juan Schiaretti for five additional years.
The Córdoba Lottery indicated that “90% of the stipulated time of the previous concessions has already been executed” and has begun to replace the concessionaire with a tender for “investments in tourism and leisure infrastructure in the cities of Alta Gracia, Río Ceballos and Cruz del Eje.
