IGT launches Vive Las Vegas slots lounge in Argentina
IGT has introduced its Vive Las Vegas slots lounge concept to Argentina, with an installation at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo in Buenos Aires. The dedicated area features more than 50 IGT titles, including multi-level progressive games such as Magic Treasures Gold on the RISE55 cabinet, alongside titles including Tiger and Dragon, Money Gong and Mummy Link on the company’s Peak hardware range.
The installation marks the first deployment of the Vive Las Vegas-branded lounge in the country and forms part of IGT’s broader expansion strategy in Latin America.
Alberto D’Audia, General Manager at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, said the lounge enhances the property’s slots offering and introduces a Las Vegas-style presentation to the gaming floor.
IGT said the concept is designed to group high-performing titles within a dedicated environment to support player engagement and operational performance.
Merkur Group appoints Kreft as Chief Information Security Officer
Merkur Group has appointed Manuel Kreft as Group Chief Information Security Officer, a newly created role overseeing company-wide information security strategy.
Kreft, who has been with the organisation since
1997, will be responsible for developing a global framework for information security, including the introduction of standardised processes across the group’s international operations.
He previously held senior roles within Merkur’s IT service provider, most recently as Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations. He has also been involved in establishing information security systems aligned with ISO 27001.
Reporting to CEO Lars Felderhoff, Kreft will lead the development of a central competence centre focused on identifying and mitigating risks to data and IT systems.
He said the role will prioritise strengthening the group’s digital resilience through continuous development of security practices.
Zitro wins Eilers & Krejcik Award for third consecutive year
Zitro has received the Eilers & Krejcik Gaming Award for top-performing game in Latin America for the third consecutive year.
The 2026 award was granted for the King Fu Frog title, reflecting performance data tracked across the region.
The recognition is based on rankings from Eilers & Krejcik – Fantini reports, which assess game performance across multiple markets and categories.
Alejandra Burato, Zitro’s Regional Director for Latin America, said the award reflects consistent performance and ongoing collaboration with regional operators.
The company has maintained a strong presence in Latin American markets, supported

by a portfolio spanning video bingo and slot products.
Zitro said it will continue to expand its content pipeline, with new releases planned for the region.
Visualize Group completes acquisition of BMM Testlabs
The Visualize Group has completed its acquisition of BMM Testlabs, following regulatory approvals across multiple jurisdictions.
The transaction marks the first private equity acquisition of a major testing and certification provider in the regulated gaming sector. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1981, BMM provides testing, inspection
and compliance services to suppliers, operators and regulators across six continents. The company employs more than 700 staff across 16 offices and holds a broad portfolio of regulatory licences. The deal positions BMM as a platform for potential consolidation within the testing and certification segment.
Pechanga installs Zitro Fantasy cabinet with Brave Dragon title
Pechanga Resort Casino in California has installed Zitro’s Fantasy cabinet, featuring the Brave Dragon game, as part of its slots offering. The deployment includes six multi- denomination machines and incorporates Zitro’s Crown sign package, designed to enhance on-floor visibility. Alex Rodriguez, Vice President of Slot Operations at Pechanga, said the installation adds variety
to the property’s gaming mix and reflects its ongoing relationship with the supplier. Zitro USA CEO Derik Mooberry said the placement builds on the performance of Brave Dragon in other US locations.
The Fantasy cabinet combines a multi-game configuration with high-definition display features and integrated lighting elements. The installation forms part of Zitro’s continued expansion in the North American market across both land-based and digital segments.
