NOVOMATIC AMERICAS

Q&A: Kirubakar Santhanam

Casino International’s Matt Broughton spoke with Kirubakar Santhanam, VP of Product Development at Novomatic Americas.

Matt: Before we talk about 2026, I’d like to talk about last year. What were the key moments and achievements for you in 2025?

Kirubakar: I would say defi nitely the launch of the DIAMOND X QUATTRO, which got a facelift. It came with all the bells and whistles needed to make this cabinet a premium cabinet, such as Hi-Fi sound, LED, full glass display. As a matter of fact, it was awarded the Best Slot Machine award at the European Casino Awards. That speaks for itself.

Matt: And have you had a good response from customers? Kirubakar: Absolutely. That’s still our number one selling cabinet, so I can speak for that as well. Also, going into the game side of things, with multiple studios, we are able to achieve a lot of games in specific markets, customised to the needs of those markets. Products like Rising Treasures Extension Link Evolution, Extension Link Volume 3 and 4 – which were also shortlisted on the list for EMEA. Again, the effort that has been put behind the games and the results that we see are on par.
