In a way, this makes a decision-making process for the buyer
rather diffi cult, particularly because it is not very easy to distinguish between the overwhelming advertisements, needed or not-needed options, ergonomic aspects, technical level, visual appearance or total value of the package. Reality is, the stadium concept is constantly evolving and the
standards are not really fi rmly set. At Alfastreet, we often feel almost helpless, trying to dig
through all the magical advertisements and claims of perfection when it comes to stadium setup. At least, from time to time, we get a chance to write an article and point out some of the facts that make Alfastreet stadium currently the most advanced setup in the world. Our fi rst proper stadium setup was made roughly 12 years ago with 25 single terminals and 2 roulette wheels. At that time, there was only one other company that was able to make anything similar. Since then, we have evolved drastically – and we have kept improving.
We were the fi rst company that introduced simultaneous
betting on the same screen. Initially we started with a two-game split screen, where today we are comfortably able to do four games on the same screen. We still hold the record for the largest stadium setup, with a little under 200 terminals connected together. Connecting a large number of terminals is easily promised but in reality, there are multiple possible issues with such a large installation. We have gone through all the challenges and we have learned from the mistakes that come with introducing something that’s never been introduced before. Today, we can easily and effortlessly put together a stadium that combines hundreds of terminals that are connected to 100+ electronic tables. Our experience is backed up with numerous installations around the world, ranging from Europe, Latin America, the US – all the way to the place where it all started, Asia.
