Casino 36 Ltd proposes new casino in Dudley, UK
T
he company that brought Casino 36 to Wolverhampton, UK, creating 100 jobs, is planning to invest more than £12 million on a second site in nearby Dudley, it has revealed. Casino 36 Ltd officially opened a £7.6 million casino in Lower Temple Street in November last year and has now set its sights on another leisure scheme seven miles away, says Peter Adkins, head of the regulatory team at leading Birmingham law firm Emms Gilmore Liberson. The project which will involve the relocation of the existing Casino on Castle Hill Dudley, and the development of a new Bingo Hall will enhance the town, increase tourism, and bring economic and employment opportunities to the Black Country town. Peter worked with the company for four years to advise on the licensing requirements for the Wolverhampton complex and has been retained for the new application in the Black Country town. Casino 36 Ltd is planning to invest more than £12 million on a purpose-built facility at Castlegate Leisure Park, creating 74 full-time jobs for the local community. It aims to open the new premises in 2018.
