P 74 JANUARY 2019

assport Technology has experienced impressive growth in the United Kingdom and Europe, driven by a commitment to securing high-value patron data,

innovation, and customer relationships. As recipient of the Global Regulatory Awards 2018 Compliance Payment Service or Solution Provider of the Year, the company continues to lead in cash access innovation. “We are very pleased with the progress we’ve made this year – deploying to several new UK & EU locations, the launch of our new ATM service, and the expansion of Passport Technology into Canada,” states Max Aceituno, DPO. In addition to the stellar growth of the company, 2018 was

a year for several security enhancements within the Passport Technology CashValet platform to help mitigate risks for casino operators. Some of these enhancements include the

disabling “fallback” card options, PCI/P2PE enhancements, and introduction of multi-factor authentication to assist with data protection. Helen Bowditch, VP of International Development comments, “Despite being a payments company, we have always pushed for greater social and gambling responsibility. Donations through our platform continue to stream in and we will be presenting another cheque to GamCare this year”. Passport Technology is a proud sponsor of this year’s British Casino Awards, GamblingCompliance Global Regulatory Awards and is an active partner of the ECA, supporting their ventures, especially diversity in the workplace.
