…HELLO 2019!

David Sachs CEO, Tomobox

What was great about 2018?

The US market has finally opened to State-regulated online sports betting. That means that after years of banning (in fact as of 1992) the largest potential market for iGaming has reopened. Some speculate that Americans wager $150 billion annually in the black market. Sports Betting will be hitting the ground running, but other games will be sure to follow, as demonstrated by licences granted by the States of New Jersey and Louisiana.

What was bad about 2018? Regulators are putting the screws on operators who are poorly equipped to handle responsible

big ones bigger and the little guys go away. Estimates of acquiring a player is up to 300GBP for quality deposits.

betting. Companies such as Videoslots are paying millions of GBP as a result of years of neglection to install the appropriate systems in place, thus risking loss of licences and huge fines. For small operators and affiliates the cost of acquiring players skyrocketing due to heated competition, constant SEO tampering of algorithms by Google and Bing with emphasis on quality content making the

What are you excited about for 2019? We’ll see new technologies like AI proliferate into customer experience and revenue uplift. With players generating a huge amount of data, starting with onboarding process as well as in-game signals and behaviour, operators are failing to keep up with big data and identify player frustration. There is a huge opportunity for technology companies to come for the rescue for those operators that are bold enough to experiment and

Kate Romanenko Chief Business Officer, Evoplay Entertainment

What was great about 2018? Good – to see the company and products moving step-by-step every day and appreciating what we have. Evolving from good to great is something that every company should have at their guts – we experiment in technologies, themes, mechanics. Awesome – securing partnerships, connecting with more and more great people around the industry, delivering our 3D / VR slot – the industry first. It’s a sheer honour for us to be the first in something in such an established and fruitful industry.

What were the biggest challenges of 2018?

One of them still remains a challenge – entering new markets and providing our

products to new players with different habits, tastes, preferences, lifestyles. Evoplay Entertainment is working hard on obtaining UKGC and MGA licences and getting game certifications for local markets. The other challenge is a sweet one –

keeping our R&D on a high level and brainstorm on how to invest and contribute to the iGaming industry and bring real value to our clients, partners and our brothers and sisters – competitors.

What are you excited about for 2019? We are looking forward to bringing more of great games to the market, establishing ourselves as innovators in the industry and providing real examples of that. Very excited about new markers and partnerships and seeing our games in action on new territories and new target audience. ICE 2019 is also a big date and we are looking forward to presenting our next big game – a slot that will look like an RPG game based on a certified RNG.

Any personal New Year resolutions you’re happy to share? New Year is a great time and occasion to wrap up things, take a break to re-load your brain, refresh and start the new page in our calendars with an open mind and step into a new day with positive setup, ready for new challenges and ideas while taking the best out

of the past year. The main resolution is to keep an eye on the market as it changes, developing our strong sides and discovering opportunities of innovating and revolutionizing the iGaming business.

I am convinced that crypto

technology and crypto assets will play a large role later in 2019

produce quality tools to edge the competition.

Any personal New Year resolutions you’re happy to share? I’d like Tomobox to become a leader in AI-driven revenue uplift for online operators. We cater to midsize operators who are on the forefront of innovation innovative and are data oriented. Technologies such as Big Data combined with industry specific machine learning algorithms, make it possible for operators to identify in real-time anomalies that point to potential churn of players, quickly respond to players in distress and keep them happy and playing.
