Roca Group welcomes two new BDMs
R
oca Group UK has recently expanded its sales team with the addition of two new managers. Gary Pusey has been appointed as the Retail Business Development Manager for West London, while Brendan McGowan has been named Business Development Manager for Connacht and Ulster. “I’m delighted to welcome Gary and Brendan to the Roca UK sales team,” says Jamie Welch, Roca UK’s Field Sales Director. “Both West London and Connacht and Ulster are key areas where we want both to grow the Roca and LAUFEN brands and strengthen existing relationships. It’s great that Brendan and Gary will be respectively taking care of these areas.”
Brendan McGowan comments, “I will be focusing on ensuring we maintain a stellar service to our client base, while improving
on the fantastic foundations laid down by my predecessor. My aim is to make Roca and LAUFEN the number-one bathroom brand in the Connacht and Ulster region.”
Meanwhile,
Gary Pusey says, “LAUFEN is already very well established in West London. However, I’ll still be seeking out new opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers. As for Roca, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to promote the brand. There are many exciting new products on the horizon, and I look forward to
discussing them with potential customers.”

Chairman Paul Luff and CEO Kay Porter met with both ASCER and Confindustria Ceramica, where they discussed the future of the tiling industry. Relations continue to strengthen between the associations, with ASCER showing interest in exhibiting at The Tiling Show, as well as repeating a trade visit to Castellón in June. Moreover,
Confindustria Ceramica will invite approximately 20 TTA members for a
trade visit to factories in March, as well as encouraging their manufacturer agents to attend The Tiling Show.
TTA attended a press conference on 25th September, which discussed important issues in the tiling industry, including sustainability, new technology, product trends and the future of the tiling sector. At the press conference, leading industry experts discussed the global market, industry statistics and economic issues faced, sustainability and tile design, format and colour trends.
Thank you to the Confindustria Ceramica team for your efforts in organising our stay in Bologna, which allowed us to visit Cersaie.
n September, The Tile Association visited Cersaie to find out more about the Italian tile industry.
