But the trend to have a designer towel rail in the bathroom has now blossomed out across the home – with special radiators available to spruce up the kitchen as well as the bathroom and the arrival of vertical radiators has seen the addition of good looking radiators around the home even where the wall space is limited – in hallways, landings, in nooks and crannies – there’s a radiator for virtually every space and every area of wall that can carry a radiator to add to the comfort levels in the home. And the latest trend is for coloured radiators as well…you used to be able to have a radiator in


any colour so long as it was white! Now they are available in up to 36 different colours – great for interior designers, for corporate colour schemes and in homes – if your son supports a particular football team – he can now have a radiator in his room to match their shirts! Many coloured radiators are even available from stock – so no wait for delivery! The next requirement of radiators will be as we


see boilers replaced by air source heat pumps as renewable heating systems become the norm, particularly in new build homes. Radiators perform perfectly with the new lower temperature heating systems so long as they are sized properly – you will need larger radiators or you can switch to K3 radiators – with three panels and three sets of fins which generate additional heat from the same radiator footprint.
