KitchenEX: “We consider ourselves as an extension to our retailer's business”

K

itchenEX was launched in 2012, starting as a small family business.

Our aim has and always will be; to be the very best distributor possible. Today we are known as the exclusive UK suppliers of Faber Cooker Hoods, ILVE Appliances and more recently ASKO laundry. We consider ourselves as an extension to our retailer's business; acting as ambassadors for the brands we supply and love. The last 18 months have been challenging for

the whole industry. We have had huge pressures and have always tried to expect the unexpected. We have tried to support our retailers wherever possible - and our goal has been to make the everyday of our loyal customers that little bit easier. The next battle we all face is planning for the unknown - but at KitchenEx we are doing everything we can to ensure our retailers have everything they need. Within the last 10 months, we have been lucky

enough to expand our team so we can provide our retailers with an even better service. We have welcomed new administrators, marketing staff, training managers and have recently appointed Tom Harris as our new Sales Director. “The last 18 months have been tough for everyone, but I can imagine the next few months of uncertainty will be the most challenging. As a business, we will continue to develop even stronger relationships with both retailers and suppliers. We have been

able to offer outstanding lead times, great stock and brilliant support for our retailers so far - and plan to continue doing so for the foreseeable future. ” Harris said. It has been wonderful to welcome our brilliant

office team back in Sheffield. We can see that the industry is slowly returning to “normal” but there are some things that were once the ‘norm’ within our business that has changed for the good. Our sales team will no longer be visiting all retailers “in the flesh”, many sales presentations and training sessions will now be held through video conferencing, giving more time to spend with

retailers and designers. We will continue to do “our bit” and keep both our retailers and sales team as safe as possible moving forwards - whether thats visiting retailers, or appointments in our own showroom. As well as introducing some new faces to the

office, we have also welcomed two new delivery partners. We want our retailers to be confident and know that we can provide not only quality products but an excellent service to their customers. We are continuing to update our retailers

resources, whilst creating even more demand for our products on the market. We are producing new training materials and sales videos whilst expanding out social presence and working on some exciting new ideas. Our marketing team is working hard to make selling our products even easier for retailers. For the latest product announcements and info, visit our websites and social media channels. Our marketing team is proudly updating our channels with beautiful new content on a daily basis. May we take this opportunity to wish all of our

retailers the very best during the next challenge; keep safe. If you need any information or assistance please

call.
