Focus on Inks & Varnish Inkcups
The right ink for every direct to object application
Inkcups offers a complete range of inkjet and pad printing inks and primers for use on plastics, glass, metal, and more. With different materials presenting different printing and adhesion requirements, selecting the right ink is an important part of achieving a durable, high-quality result. As a manufacturer of both digital inkjet and pad printing equipment, Inkcups understands the requirements of different substrates, including when primers can be used to support adhesion and durability. For UV inkjet printing, Inkcups’ inks combine abrasion resistance with bright, vibrant pigments. The range includes T2 UV ink, designed for printing on Tritan plastic; XFlexx Flexible and BB Ultra Flexible inks for soft plastic products that bend and fold; DL Series UV ink for glass and hard plastics; and S1 UV inkjet ink for rigid substrates including glass, plastic and metal. Inkcups also offers food-safe Candymark edible inks for printing full-colour images on bakery and confectionery products. Inkcups’ industrial inkjet primers are designed to support adhesion on specific substrates. These include MetalBond adhesion promoter for metal; SureBond Primer for the Helix ONE; XF Primer for powder-coated vessels; MagiCoat Glass Primer; and ITS#2 Primer for chrome, steel and aluminium applications.
SB Eco Series from Inkcups
For pad printing, Inkcups supplies 12 inks for transferring high-resolution graphics, logos, and markings onto flat, curved and irregular surfaces. The range includes GN Series for plastics, metal, natural
fabrics, and wood; SB Eco Series eco-friendly pad printing ink for tagless garment printing; and BA Series, a high-gloss, all-purpose ink. Inkcups’ inkjet and pad printing inks are rigorously tested to ensure they meet or exceed industry standard requirements. Adhesion testing is also available to help determine the most
suitable UV inkjet or pad printing ink for their particular substrate and application.
