Embrace Building Wraps completes boarding for Zimmermann’s Sloane Street store
E
mbrace Building Wraps has completed the design, production and installation of a large-scale printed scaffold wrap that would conceal the restoration works without compromising the premium character of the location.
The client required one solution to perform three roles, it needed to screen the working scaffold, recreate the building’s architecture as a convincing trompe l’oeil image and incorporate a carefully positioned Zimmermann advertisement.
Embrace delivered a 359m/sq. scaffold wrap centred on a high-definition trompe l’oeil recreation of the elevation.

It enabled essential building work to proceed while maintaining a more appropriate appearance for the surrounding homes, boutiques and public realm.
The wrap was printed on specialist mesh PVC, which meant its perforated construction allowed air to pass through, helping reduce wind pressure on the scaffold compared with a solid sheet, while permitting daylight to reach the scaffold and occupied apartments. Greg Forster, managing director of Embrace Building Wraps, said: “This project shows what a well-designed scaffold wrap can achieve in a high-profile location. The working scaffold is concealed, the architecture is visually restored through a detailed trompe l’oeil treatment, and the Zimmermann campaign is integrated in a way that respects the building and wider street.

INFiLED delivers digital display for Westfield Forum des Halles shopping environment.
NFiLED has provided Paris’ Westfield Forum des Halles with its WP Series LED screens.
Westfield looked to Scenarchie, a French audiovisual design and consulting firm, whose role was to establish the technical and spatial requirements for the new display.
The work was carried out over eight evenings, between 10pm and 7am during the centres closed hours.
The WP Series’ brightness, contrast, grayscale, and refresh rate performance ensured retail campaigns and branded content was clearly legible with the intensity required in a bright, visually busy
The completed display was configured with a Novastar H Series controller and six CVT10-S fibre units, the WP Series’ ultra-thin cabinet profile allowed the screen to integrate into the existing architecture without appearing bulky or intrusive. Jean-Pierre Leandre, head of AV at BTB Audiovisuel, said: “A screen of this size with a 2.5mm pixel pitch requires flawless installation quality, I was genuinely impressed by the level of care taken in the integration.
“Everything was executed to perfection. It is truly remarkable work resulting in a high-quality screen that everyone notices.”

manufacturing goals. To achieve this, the installation incorporated ‘5S signage’, which involved designing and manufacturing custom tool shadow boards, colour-coded floor markings, safety display boards and clear site navigation solutions, designed to ensure every tool has a designated place and every process and hazard is clearly marked. To withstand the demands of the
facility, FASTSIGNS Hull produced the custom signage using high-durability,
chemical-resistant materials and heavy-duty anti-slip floor laminates. Andy Sutton, chief quality officer at Ideal Heating, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled with the finished result and the positive impact the new signage has already made across our factory floor.”
Andy Dearman, owner of
FASTSIGNS Hull, added: “Working alongside a household name and major manufacturer like Ideal Heating has been a fantastic opportunity for our team.”
