Expanding options for heat network applications


Baxi has expanded its AquaHeat Heat Interface Unit (HIU) range with the launch of the AquaHeat HD/HWI Direct HIU. With the new model, the AquaHeat range can now provide solutions across the whole HIU market, supplying models suited to both high and low-rise apartments, and communal and campus heat networks. This is in addition to utility and commercial spaces within these developments. Baxi can off er HIU users


Heat Meters and its Mercurius connected platform, a secure and responsive web portal that’s accessible from any device. This service off ers a range of benefi ts, including remote fault diagnostics, increasing fi rst-time visit success, and remote monitoring and control of each individual HIU settings to prevent heat network performance drift.


The AquaHeat HD/HWI is the fi rst Direct HIU to pass BESA V3 2023,

Redesigned for modern building needs


An updated version of DAB Pumps’ Evoplus electronic circulator range has been introduced for use in heating, hot water and air conditioning systems. The circulators use variable-speed inverter technology to adjust motor output, reducing energy consumption. A protective cataphoretic coating guards against corrosion in damp or high-condensation environments, while the latest small model now includes added separation between motor and electronics. Ease of operation has also been a focus, with a four-button LCD


interface and plug-in connections to simplify installation. The range spans from the compact Evoplus Small, delivering fl ow rates up to 12 m3


/h, to the twin-pump Evoplus Twin at 147 m3 /h. Sanitary

Flexible hoses for heat pumps


Components designed for use in heat pump installations have been launched by Instantor as part of its Paktermo range. The new HP hoses are fl exible stainless steel pipes supplied in 10m coils. They feature a corrugated design for easier positioning of outdoor units, along with closed-cell insulation to reduce heat loss and a


reducing energy waste and maximising energy effi ciency.
