Try out the EZ Joist Clip for free!
Installers can take advantage of a free sample offer from Talon for its innovative EZ Joist Clip. Designed to make pipework installations safer, quicker and easier for installers, especially in challenging overhead, high-up and hard-to-reach areas, the EZ Joist Clip allows for side-on installation, making it much safer to install above head level. The side-nailing feature, with a supportive ledge to keep pipe in position while it is secured, makes it easier and quicker to use than traditional nail-in clips which require access to the top of joists.
The clips can be used to fix the
pipe in place when it is already in-situ, and multiple clips can be joined together for extended runs and complex configurations. All sizes of the clip can be connected via a dovetail joint, ensuring uniform pipe spacing and an aesthetically pleasing finish. Designed for both 15 and 22mm pipes and available in black or natural, these clips have the same strength as Talon’s original Hinged Clips but offer versatility for awkward spaces, such as upside down or underfloor joists.
Claim your free sample! Simply use the reader link below and click on the colour you wish to try, fill out your details and the clips will be sent to your address. ◼

Conex Compression fittings are designed to establish tight and secure connections without the need for sealant. The specially designed rib-nut is tightened by a Conex compression spanner. Guaranteed against
manufacturing defects for 25 years, the fittings are easy to
use and provide compactness, strength, grip and effortless engagement. No hot works are required – they provide a permanent flame-free connection and are corrosion resistant. Manufactured from high-
WRAS approved for hi-rises
Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) approval has been granted for Uponor’s range of MLC on boosted cold water supplies up to 16 bar. The approval provides specifiers and installers with a corrosion resistant alternative to traditional copper and metal systems for taller buildings. This means Uponor can now
supply high rise apartment buildings with clean, WRAS approved cold water through its 16 bar MLC riser, ‘Uponor Uni Pipe’. Previously, its systems were limited to five to six storey
Valve enhances flow control, balance
The Kombi V5007 Pressure Independent Control Valve (PICV) from Resideo is designed for dynamic balancing with flow control in HVAC systems. The valve combines the benefits of an automatic pressure- independent flow controller and a constant valve into a single product. It can be used for
temperature balancing and control in various
applications such as fan coil units, chilled ceilings, and one-pipe systems. The PICV’s flow controller supports dynamic hydraulic balancing, said to result in energy savings of over 10%. The valve features a dirt-resistant design for easy maintenance, precise pressure-independent flow performance, and enhanced measuring capabilities. ◼

buildings, so this approval puts the company on par with traditional metal and copper piping. James Griffiths, senior
marketing manager for North- West Europe at Uponor, says: “While WRAS certification is not mandatory, it is one of the most recognised standards for ensuring the system’s suitability for use with drinking water and demonstrating compliance with the Water Supply Regulations for water fittings and materials.” ◼

Efficient water control and monitoring
A new range of Tenant Valves has been launched by RWC to offer increased benefits and flexibility for controlling and monitoring water supply. They are designed to save time and space, with a focus on multi-occupancy buildings and new housing developments. The Tenant Valve Advance is the flagship
product in the range, incorporating an isolation valve, pressure reducing valve, integral strainer, and double check valve
for backflow prevention. It includes a direct connection point for a billable water meter, reducing the need for additional connectors and potential leak points. The valve also features a moulded insulation cover for easy access during maintenance. ◼

quality brass materials, the unique compression rib-nut can be used in a wide variety of domestic and commercial applications, making it a truly versatile product. Its applications are many-fold including hot or cold drinking water, heating, solar and gas. The Conex Compression joint
is based on the principle of compressing a spherical brass ring – formerly known as a cone – between two differing tapers in the cap-nut and fitting. ◼
