Upgraded thermostat offers better features

The ESRTP4RF+ programmable room thermostat from ESi Controls has been upgraded with the launch of the new ESRTP4RFW, which is WiFi compatible when combined with the ESi WiFi Hub (ESWIFIHUB). Both versions – the original ESRTP4RF+ and the new ESRTP4RFW – are available, offering a choice for customers. The newest version

incorporates a WiFi chip, enabling remote operation through the separately-sold WiFi Hub, while the original backplate design has been retained to offer installers installation flexibility. The control interface has

also been updated, with the slider bar replaced with buttons that feature larger labels for improved visibility and usability. This change is particularly beneficial for users with limited eyesight or difficulty operating the older slider mechanism. To coincide with the launch of the new control, the ESi app is having

a makeover, too. It will still be simple to operate with user-friendly functionality but is having a complete aesthetic upgrade. ESI Controls is continuing to offer the option for the thermostat front cover to be laser- engraved, free of charge, with the installer’s logo and business details, to ensure the installer is the customer’s first point of contact. The ESRTP4RFW is compatible with gas, electric, oil and LPG boilers

and comes with a standard three-year warranty. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/225/71

Pump away the condensate with quiet operation

Designed for air conditioning applications where silence is important, the upgraded Silent+ Mini Lime pump from Aspen Pumps operates at only 16dB(A) for efficient and quiet condensate removal. It delivers a flow rate of 40L/h, approximately four times that of piston-based mini pumps, and incorporates advanced features to optimise energy use and reduce operational noise. Its variable speed demand control dynamically adjusts to its environment, using less energy while extending motor life.

The pump features an

electronic float switch for precise and reliable operation, replacing traditional mechanical components. This innovation allows for seamless integration with digital control systems and ensures efficient, on-demand pumping. Installation is simplified with fewer components, such as the elimination of dampers and anti-siphon devices, while its ‘plug & play’ design is backwards compatible, making it suitable for replacement installations. With compatibility for a variety

of trunking systems and a discreet design, the pump fits into tight spaces like trunking elbows, providing installation versatility. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/225/74
