Sector Guide Cradlepoint launches X10 5G router
CRADLEPOINT has released the X10 5G router, designed to equip service providers with an all-in-one fixed wireless access (FWA) service for small and medium-sized businesses, temporary sites, and remote workers. The X10 5G router delivers enterprise- grade connectivity and ease-of-management through NetCloud Manager while enabling service providers to craft tiered security and Quality of Service (QoS)-based plans. The X10 5G router is designed to provide fast and reliable 5G connectivity, enabling service providers to offer their business customers day-one connectivity using the cellular network or as a backup cellular connection, helping businesses connect quickly and securely to the internet and avoid network downtime. This enables service providers to offer business internet solutions that are quickly deployed, reliable, resilient, and more secure than other best-effort solutions on the market today. With 5G expected to account for almost 80% of FWA connections by 2028, businesses of all sizes will increasingly demand tailored solutions from service providers. The enterprise- grade yet cost-efficient X10 5G router represents Cradlepoint’s commitment to the growing FWA Business Internet solutions market and will enable service providers to meet growing demand for these solutions.
Enhanced operational efficiency and reduced operational costs: Cloud management through NetCloud enables service providers to more effectively and efficiently support their managed services at scale while robust APIs give them the flexibility to integrate X10 management into their existing management systems.
Canon updates i-Sensys and i-Sensys X models
CANON UK is expanding its range of i-Sensys and i-Sensys X printers with six updated A4 devices which will be available to channel partners. To streamline Canon’s A4 product offering and complement the overall portfolio of A3 products, two of the i-Sensys X models (C1538iF II and C1533iF II) in the updated range have shifted from the imageRUNNER to the i-Sensys X brand. The refreshed i-Sensys X range comes with features designed to help customers manage documents and information, such as compatibility with Canon’s uniFLOW Online, a secure print and scan solution which allows organisations to manage their entire print environment through the cloud.
The new devices are aimed at busy working environments with an average warm up time of less than four seconds, and scan speeds of up to 190 images per minute (ipm). Scanning performance is also a highlight, with 30% improved document reading time compared to previous models. Stuart Miller, director, channel partners, Canon UK said:
“We are proud to offer our partners the widest hardware, software, and solutions portfolio on the market. And with the addition of the newly refreshed i-Sensys and i-Sensys X products, we are further strengthening our portfolio – offering a range with strong security credentials and premium quality printing output which fits into many types of end customer businesses.”
