Route Assembly Acquires Mango Bikes

SCOTTISH-BASED bicycle manufacturer Route Assembly recently completed the acquisition of Mango Bikes, a Northern Irish-based bike retailer focusing on online retail. Since its founding, Mango Bikes has been known for its “stylish designs and affordable price tags.” The company’s mission aligns closely with Route Assembly’s goal of creating a more sustainable future, and the shared values of the companies were a major deciding factor in this acquisition. “We are thrilled to bring Mango Bikes into the Route Assembly portfolio,” said Ian Byrne, CEO of Route Assembly.

“Their innovative bikes, commitment to sustainability and cheeky voice make them a perfect fit for our company. Unfortunately, it’s also a company that’s suffered from some negative reviews.” Acknowledging these reviews

is a crucial part of the company’s strategy moving forward. “We are first and foremost a bike manufacturer. We take pride in the quality of our bikes, and we want to make sure we’re providing excellent quality across all of our brands. This means taking on board past customer reviews to improve the Mango Inventory.” 
