Cycling Weekly has appointed Andy Carr as tech editor. The former founder and CEO of Spoon Group Limited, which brought together two brands creating bespoke custom bikes, will lead the tech team in providing expert reviews, news and buying advice to Cycling Weekly’s audience. Carr brings a decade of experience working within the bike industry, designing and developing award- winning bikes and cycling products for Spoon Customs and Wyndymilla, as well as prior experience in communications roles. Based in Norfolk, Carr will be


reviewing bikes and equipment himself, as well as commissioning all tech team reviews and freelance contributions to the 134-year-old brand. He’ll also be the point of contact for all tech launches and news announcements, and work on features and news stories for both CyclingWeekly.com and the print magazine. 


Lukas Kühar

Silverfish has announced the growth of its European presence, thanks to additional hires and a new marketing partnership. The company says they are “ramping up their European presence with a major focus on the German- speaking markets.” Joining the team to support this


growth is Lukas Kühar, who steps into the role of Sales and Warranty Support Manager. Silverfish says his appointment ensures an even smoother service for both retailers and end consumers alike. Lukas is a keen rider and passionate about establishing Silverfish as a household name in Germany, Austria, and beyond.

leadership experience, Cavaggioni has previously held key positions across Europe, the United States, and China in the industrial, automotive, and engineering consulting sectors. A native of Milan, Cavaggioni’s


career is closely tied to a host of globally known Italian brands, having previously served as Marketing Director at Iveco, head of Alfa Romeo EMEA, head of Maserati for Europe and China, and most recently as CEO of RINA Consulting. Cavaggioni steps into the role at Bianchi during a milestone year for the company—its 140th anniversary — celebrated at the recent Milan-Sanremo on March 22 with the launch of a limited edition “Oltre RC” and “Specialissima RC” models. 
