Bryan Mason, Pivot Cycles


Pivot Cycles has announced the promotion of Bryan Mason to president. In his new role, Mason will oversee


key departments and management team members, including all operations of Pivot’s Stuttgart, Germany-based offices. Mason joined Pivot Cycles in 2015 as the national sales manager before being promoted to global sales manager in 2019. CEO Chris Cocalis announced Mason’s promotion internally during the first week of June.


“Bryan understands the dynamics of our


leadership team, which is made up of very dedicated individuals,” said Cocalis. “His new role helps support Pivot’s tremendous growth and enables me to continue focusing on product development, expanding our global production capabilities, and the long-term vision for the company. “Bryan’s growth mindset will support

Chris Boardman, Active Travel England Olympic gold medallist and cycling advocate Chris Boardman has been permanently appointed as the national

agency, newly established by the UK Government to encourage and support walking and cycling across the country. Boardman has served as interim commissioner since January 2022, but will now officially take up the role, as Active Travel England has also appointed other members to the head of the organisation. Danny Williams will be CEO, while Louise Wilkinson will be chief operating officer. Confirming the appointments, cycling


minister Trudy Harrison said: “[These] appointments are another great step for Active Travel England as it continues to make sure getting around our towns and cities on foot or by bike is an easy and attractive option.” Other appointments for Active Travel England include Graham Grant – currently assistant director of transport at Newcastle City Council – as director of planning and development, and Brian Deegan, who was announced as director of inspections in May 2022. •

Kask and Koo Eyewear have appointed Chiara Vitali as North America sales manager for the cycling division. Vitali joined Kask in 2015 as Europe sales


manager within the safety division. Since 2018, she has continued her work with the team as the West Coast sales manager for Kask America. The new role will see Vitali bring her


experience and insights to the cycling division across America.
