It was, predictably, a good night for Baldur’s Gate 3 at this year’s game BAFTAs, with Larian’s D&D flavoured RPG managing to assemble a full party of four statues. Viewfinder, Alan Wake 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder managed two apiece and there were awards for Venba, Dave the Diver, Hi-fi Rush, Cyberpunk 2077, Tchia and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The BAFTA Special Award, one of BAFTA’s highest honours, was presented to SpecialEffect by Sir Ian Livingstone OBE.
