ounded in 1966, Gerhard Schubert GmbH from Crailsheim in Germany produces its digital robot-based packaging machines with a focus on the interplay between simple mechanics, intelligent control technology and a high degree of modularity.


This approach quickly made Schubert globally recognised


as one of the market leaders in top-loading packaging machines. The business has been breaking technological ground for over 50 years. Since 2002, the Schubert Group has been successfully


managing business in the UK market through its centrally headquartered subsidiary, Schubert UK Limited based in Birmingham. Schubert UK consists of a loyal and experienced team of 18 employees, with over 180 years of collective service between them. The team works with passion in the areas of sales, technical support and administration, ensuring the best possible service for customers throughout the UK and Ireland. Mark Stepney, who has over 35 years of experience in the packaging machinery industry, joined the company in 2009 as Operations Director and has been further growing the business as Managing Director since 2012. Schubert serves the needs of varied market sectors


such as Confectionery, Bakery, Dairy, Beverage, Pet Food and Healthcare. Schubert attracts its many customers throughout the UK and Ireland with its modular, futureproof TLM technology that continues to prove itself as an outstanding long-term investment. its attractively priced Lightline machine series, conceived to take on standardised packaging tasks, to the UK and Irish markets. Aside from its’ own aspirations to provide state-of-the-
