Innovations Eleven: the experts debuting new technology at the PPMA Total Show 2025
The stars of the Innovations Eleven live demonstration theatre have been announced ahead of the UK’s largest processing and packaging machinery, robotics and industrial vision event, which arrives in Birmingham this month. Industry professionals from across
manufacturing will gain access to practical demonstrations, expert insight, and the latest technologies when the PPMA Total Show® 2025 returns to the NEC from 23–25 September. More than 350 exhibitors and 1,500 brands will attend, with 11 chosen by organisers Automate UK to debut their latest
products in the live demo theatre. “One of the standout successes of last
year’s show was Innovations Eleven,” said Scott McKenna, Chief Operating Officer at Automate UK. “For 2025, we’ve enhanced the experience to ensure visitors get the best insight and support.” This year, the PPMA Show TV team will
broadcast live from each exhibitor’s stand as their machinery is showcased for the first time in the UK. In the demo theatre, experts will guide attendees through each launch and answer questions, while Daily Innovation Tours will take visitors directly to exhibitors’
Nuremberg becomes the rallying point for the packaging industry once again for FACHPACK 2025
From 23 to 25 September 2025, the European packaging industry will gather at FACHPACK in Nuremberg – the region’s leading trade fair for packaging solutions, technology, and processes. Around 1,400 exhibitors will showcase packaging materials, accessories, machines and technology across 11 halls, reflecting the show’s 2025 theme: “Transition in Packaging.” Visitors from consumer and industrial goods sectors can expect an extensive
supporting programme with the PACKBOX, INNOVATIONBOX and SOLPACK 6.0 forums, alongside awards, special shows, and live demonstrations. “We are now on the home straight for FACHPACK 2025,” said Phuong
Anh Do, Director of FACHPACK at NürnbergMesse. “Nuremberg will once again become the melting pot for the European packaging industry. We’re creating the future, so make sure you’re part of it!” About 60% of exhibitors will represent packaging, packaging
materials, and accessories, while 40% focus on machinery, marking and labelling, automation, and logistics. FACHPACK stands out as a working trade fair. “It’s about much more than showing innovations,” said Do. “It’s about working together, sharing ideas, and developing concrete solutions.” Key themes will include sustainability, digitalisation, automation, and the circular economy. networking event, the German Packaging Award ceremony, and Student Day connecting young talent with industry leaders.
FACHPACK.TV will also broadcast live from the exhibition halls. Two new pavilions will debut: “Converting meets Packaging” in Hall 7 and the “Alternative Packaging Solutions”pavilion in Hall 3, showcasing sustainable innovations. With its slogan “We create the future”, FACHPACK 2025
aims to be both a showcase and a driver for Europe’s resilient, forward-looking packaging industry.

stands for deeper discussion. The first four companies – Fortress
Technology, Shemesh Automation, Minebea Intec, and OAL (Olympus Automation) – will launch on day one. Romaco, Valco Melton, Videojet, and Ishida Europe will follow on day two, while Packline, Industore, and Epson close the line-up on the final day. “These manufacturers will present cutting- edge solutions to streamline processes, minimise human error, enhance productivity and aid sustainability,” McKenna added.
London Chocolate Forum 2025 set to return this October
The world’s premier networking event for chocolate professionals, the London Chocolate Forum (LCF), will return to Prospero House, London, on 9 October 2025. Organised by Kennedy’s Confection, the Forum is expected to draw senior figures from across the global chocolate industry for a full day of presentations, exhibitions, and high-level networking. The Forum has built a reputation as the must-attend gathering for manufacturers, chocolatiers, suppliers, and brand leaders. In 2024, attendees praised its collaborative atmosphere and focus on innovation. “It’s been brilliant. To have different people in the room, networking within the industry… great to meet a whole bunch of other people, and also learning some ideas I’ve never considered before,” said Natalaie Rockwell of Waitrose & Partners.
