09:10 – 09:45 Keynote 1: Building Resilience at Origin — Andrea Camacho, Luker Chocolate Climate resilience is becoming essential for the cocoa sector. With rising temperatures, shifting rainfall patterns and increasing soil degradation, cocoa-growing regions face growing challenges that threaten both crop productivity and farmer livelihoods.

These impacts are already visible, with lower yields, stressed ecosystems and greater vulnerability across the supply chain. For Luker Chocolate, the response begins at origin. Through their sustainability plan, The Chocolate Dream, they work closely with cocoa- growing communities to design and implement long-term strategies that enhance their capacity to adapt to climate changes. Luker’s projects focus on biodiversity enhancement, water conservation, and forest protection, supported by farmer training, good agricultural practices, and access to tools such as eco-factories, climate insurance, and carbon credit certification. Andrea’s participation at the London
Chocolate Forum will explore how investing in climate resilience at origin is key to protecting cocoa quality and supply, and also a strategic opportunity for brands and manufacturers seeking long-term value and differentiation in an
increasingly climate-conscious market.
09:45 – 10:20 Keynote 2: Chocolate at Co-op – Jonathan Williamson, Co-op Offering an insightful journey through the history of cocoa at Co-op and the organisation’s longstanding commitment to Fairtrade.
