n 1975, a quiet revolution began in the world of chocolate. That year, CAPOL introduced CAPOL® 254 N, the world’s first ready-to- use chocolate glazing agent. This innovative

product not only simplified the glazing process for confectionery manufacturers but also paved the way for CAPOL’s rise as a global leader in surface treatment solutions. It transformed chocolate dragée production and marked the beginning of CAPOL’s role as a trusted partner to the confectionery industry. Throughout its history, CAPOL

has continuously broadened its capabilities while staying true to a core principle: enabling better and more efficient confectionery production through specialised surface treatment technologies. Today, the company’s portfolio includes anti-sticking agents for gummies and jellies, polishing and sealing agents for chocolate- and sugar-coated dragées, machine release agents for sweet treats and baked goods, dipping baths for extruded licorice or fruit strings, encapsulated acids for sugar- coated gummies, and pre-coating solutions for various panned products. Building on this foundation, CAPOL

has established a strong global presence supported by a robust supply network and two strategically located production sites. From its facilities in Europe and North America, the company ensures fast and reliable delivery to markets on both sides of the Atlantic. The North American site is also home to the manufacturing of VIVAPIGMENTS® - natural colour pigments that offer lake-like properties without aluminum salts. These encapsulated pigments open up new possibilities for
