A warm welcome to you all, I’m very pleased to bring you the July issue of Kennedy’s Confection, where we delve into the latest advancements and developments in the confectionery industry. There’s a lot to cover this issue, in our news section we report Barchemy, LLC, a leader in Better-For-You (BFY) chocolate and confectionery ingredients, announces the opening of its third manufacturing facility in Donora, PA, which will focus on producing healthier peanut butter coatings, chips, and fi llings, Hames Chocolates has announced it is set to invest a quarter of a million pounds in new equipment throughout 2023 and we regretfully announce the passing of Gerhard Schubert, the founder and shareholder of leading packaging machine manufacturer Schubert.
