Pitches, expert presentations and networking in hall A4 The new
iba.START UP AREA in hall A4 will be designed with Puratos – the leading ingredient supplier for the bakery, patisserie and chocolate trade – both visually and in terms of content. Sophie Blum, CMO at Puratos, says: “Our partnership with iba reflects Puratos’ commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and creating a platform for promising startups to showcase their solutions. By supporting these startups we
are not only interested in their success, but also in the long- term success and sustainability of our industry.” The
iba.START UP AREA is a must for industry professionals
who want to find out about tomorrow’s solutions today. What makes it special is that the concept is not a traditional exhibition stand, but a modern, open space – an attractive communal area for networking and lingering. In addition to the startups’ stands, the
iba.START UP AREA supported by Puratos is also a hub for knowledge and inspiration. The pitches by the exhibiting startups, keynote speeches and presentations by renowned experts will take place on a stage. Here, forward thinkers discuss issues that are driving the industry. These range from ground-breaking technologies to food trends, always with reference to the
iba.TOPICS: food trends, artisan bakery, health and sustainability as well as digitalisation, turnkey solutions and quality management. “We want to offer a memorable experience for everyone who wants to shape the future of our industry. In the
iba.START UP AREA you will find groundbreaking ideas and technologies that will drive the way we make and consume bakery, confectionery and chocolate products,” states Sophie Blum from Puratos. “Our aim is to bring visitors and exhibitors, ideas and solutions, visions and passion from all over the world together in one place at the
iba.START UP AREA. This is the base for innovations and new cooperations. Together with Puratos, we would like to invite the baking trade to participate and also to contribute. In this way, we can continue to drive positive change together,” says Susann Seidemann, iba Exhibition Director.
