This interactive report, available on Tate & Lyle’s website describes how Tate & Lyle’s purpose of Improving Lives for Generations is being lived across the organisation and outlines the first year of progress against its ambitious long-term purpose targets and commitments set out in 2020. Tate & Lyle’s purpose

to provide more than three million nutritious meals for people in need by 2025. Lastly, Tate & Lyle aim to deliver a 30% absolute reduction in Scope

As part of its Building Thriving
Communities pillar, the Purpose Report 2021 also includes new targets to significantly progress equity, diversity, and inclusion within the organisation. Nick Hampton, Chief Executive,
Tate & Lyle said: “The ongoing challenges of the global pandemic, the heightened dialogue about inclusion and the climate emergency have showed us the value of healthy living, the importance of connecting with and supporting each other as colleagues and neighbours, and the fragility of the natural world. “That’s why we are more determined than ever to keep pursuing our purpose targets and commitments, and I am delighted with the progress we are making.” The full Purpose Report 2021:
