ncap’s factory in the UK, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, provides full turn-key product supply to customers across Europe, Asia, and North America. Since 1974, Incap UK has been a reliable partner for global businesses, offering services ranging from PCBAs to electro-mechanical assembly, cable and wire harness assembly, and rapid prototyping through its Fast Track facility. Te factory also


provides maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, catering to industries such as security, and aerospace. Special attention is paid to the efficient ramp-up of new products,


shortening the time to market for clients. Tis agility gives customers a competitive edge, enabling them to meet market demands efficiently. Te factory, with 4,400 square metres of floor space, is equipped with advanced production technologies and supported by a dedicated customer service team. Tis team works closely with clients to understand their needs, delivering tailored, flexible, and cost-effective solutions.


Investing in local manufacturing Incap UK is committed to staying ahead in the electronics manufacturing industry, as is evident from its recent EUR 1.5 million investment in upgrading its SMT production lines. Tis investment included the installation of the first fully automated, high-precision solder screen printer of its kind in the UK, along with two advanced SMT placement modules. Tis marks the beginning of a strategic upgrade to enhance efficiency, quality, and capacity in the factory’s operations. Jamie Maughan, Managing Director of Incap UK, highlights the


significance of this investment: “Te new SMT production line prepares us for future demands and integrates advanced soſtware and machine capabilities that improve our manufacturing efficiency. Te result is a 33% increase in SMT production capacity for the first line, with further enhancements expected as we continue to upgrade.” Tis investment goes beyond increasing production; it also embraces


Industry 4.0 standards. Te new technology improves data acquisition and real-time machine monitoring, boosting operational efficiency and aligning with Incap UK’s commitment to sustainability. By incorporating energy-efficient technologies, the company is reducing its environmental impact while continuing to meet customer needs.


Upgrading for efficiency and sustainability Incap UK recently completed a roof installation project at their Newcastle-under-Lyme facility, covering 4,780 square metres. Te new roof, made from Plastisol coated steel, is designed to withstand UK weather conditions and includes 240mm of insulation. Tis improvement helps maintain a comfortable environment inside the building, keeping it warm in winter and cool in summer, while lowering energy costs.

solar panels, part of the ongoing effort to increase renewable energy use. Completing this project is a significant step towards better efficiency and environmental care, reflecting Incap UK’s commitment to sustainability.
