The BMF warmly welcomes Marianna Peet as its new Apprenticeships Manager. This is a newly created position, it was previously part of the role undertaken by Kerry Wilson, the BMF’s recently departed Learning & Development Manager. With a background as the Early Careers Lead at LEAP, Marianna brings a wealth of experience and an unwavering dedication to nurturing young talent.


As Apprenticeships Manager, Marianna will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing BMF’s apprenticeship programmes. Her responsibilities include identifying ways to support and engage with young individuals, promoting apprenticeships as a viable career pathway within the building materials industry, and fostering partnerships with educational institutions and industry stakeholders. Marianna’s commitment to youth development extends


beyond rhetoric. Throughout her career, she has actively pursued initiatives to empower disadvantaged groups, ensuring equitable access to educational and vocational opportunities. Her active involvement with the BMF Young Merchant Group underscores her dedication to nurturing the next generation of industry leaders.
