Cedral brings the Midas Touch to RNLI lifeguard hut

Over the winter of 2021, Cedral helped to refurbish the RNLI lifeguard facilities at Cornwall’s Constantine Bay by donating fibre cement cladding to completely renovate the existing lifeguard hut and covering all costs of installation.

Exposed to the elements on Cornwall’s rugged north shore, tough and durable fibre cement

cladding was ideal for the job. Built to withstand the harshest conditions, with a minimum life expectancy of 50 years, flush fitting Cedral Click tongue and groove weatherboard was specified. For this project, the CO2 beige board selected blended perfectly with the beach environment – not just hard working, but beautiful too. The cladding’s low maintenance

Cheshire Mouldings thrown to the Wolves

Cheshire Mouldings is the official Warrington Wolves shorts partner for 2021.

John Carney, managing director of Cheshire Mouldings, said: “It is a real privilege to be sponsoring Warrington Wolves this season, as they are a top performing club

that perfectly encompasses our company mission to be the very best at what we do. Cheshire Mouldings has a real affinity with the club, with the entire Carney family being avid supporters due to my dad, who founded the business, previously playing professional rugby and being a close follower of the team. As supporters return to the Halliwell Jones Stadium this month the sponsorship will be fantastic regional and national exposure for our business and we look forward to the season ahead.” Winners of three league championships and the 10th most successful rugby league club in England, Warrington Wolves has achieved a fantastic start to the season, winning four of its first seven matches.

requirements will reduce upkeep costs for the RNLI as fibre cement doesn’t rot, rust, warp or crack and is fire, insect, bacteria and algae resistant. The timber effect frontage complements the natural environment while weather proofing the facility through the harsh winter storms.

RNLI Lead Lifeguard Supervisor for the area Max Setti said: “The

upgrades mean our equipment and buildings can be protected and cared for throughout each season, and it will also enhance the service we can provide the public, as well as the working environment for our lifeguards”.

be as efficient to run as possible, by preventing heat from escaping through the roof, so good thermal insulation was essential.” With this in mind, the charity trustees made a beeline for Knauf Insulation, which supplied a pallet of Loft Roll 44.

Marketing manager at Robert Price, Molly Pike said: “The Robert Price team were delighted to assist our local beekeeping community by providing the insulation needed to ensure their new learning centre meets the new energy efficiency regulations.”
