1. Tuscan updates granite sink offer The Tuscan granite sink collection now comes in grey and an on-trend matt black. The popular Empoli inset sink model features a sleek new design with a linear drainer and is now available in a Jet Black finish in addition to the existing shades of Polar White and Champagne. Tuscan’s new Maranella inset sink model features a more streamlined design and is available in new Jet Black and elegant Stone Grey finishes, in addition to Polar White. Tuscan’s granite sinks are highly resistant to staining and scratching and can withstand temperatures up to 280°C. They are available in reversible single and 1.5 bowl models which are designed to fit a 500mm cabinet and backed by a 10-year warranty.

2. The Power of X
OLFA’s X-Design 25mm (extra heavy-duty) knife has a fibreglass-reinforced body, which is lightweight yet highly durable, and a rubber wrap-around adds comfort whilst preventing slipping. The toughest materials can be cut through with maximum force and minimal hand fatigue. The knife features a snap-off blade and comes pre-loaded with an Excel Black ultra-sharp blade, recognisable by its black colour. It’s much sharper than ordinary blades and has seven segments that simply snap off as they get dull. Tough materials such as insulation, carpet, plasterboard, rubber, vinyl flooring and all easily handled. There are two versions: the XH-AL, with jam-free slider and automatic blade lock, or the XH-1 with ratchet wheel-lock. Whilst the slide-lock benefits from straightforward operation, the wheel lock can hold the blade a little more securely.

illbruck has developed its new TP654 illmod TRIO 1050 window and door sealing tape. Recognising that airtightness is a key element to achieve high energy performance buildings, TP654 has been engineered under a new geometric system to ensure warm (or cold) air is kept within a building. TP654 offers a lock tight solution, centred around the development of new closed cell foam and airtight film technologies within the product’s design, combined with a new geometrical shape for maximum performance. The system helps to create a comfortable and safe environment for building users too, with the design offering enhanced thermal and sound insulation to deliver good acoustic performance, as well as the reassurance of a B1 flammability class.

Fibo has added two new designs to its Urban Collection. The Herringbone and Hexagonal designs join the popular Metro Brick, to offer greater possibilities for creating contemporary bathrooms and kitchens. Both of the new designs are available in a choice of three decors: London, which is a high gloss, warm grey shade; White Silk, a clean, white colourway; and the brand-new Black Silk, also available in the Metro Brick design, which mimics the effect of staggered 30x10cm brickwork reminiscent of art deco underground stations. Fibo wall panels are made with a high-pressure laminate surface, bonded to a 9mm seven-layer plywood core, and an enhanced moisture barrier on the reverse. The panels are 2400mm high and 600mm wide and can be installed quickly with the Aqualock ‘click’ system.

6. Geocel relaunches Mate range Geocel has relaunched its Mate range, featuring premium packaging, to make it easier to quickly identify on shelf. The range includes the new Trade Mate Nail Power instant grab gap filling adhesive, which irradicates the need for nails and screws and is suitable for bonding porous and non-porous surfaces. Trade Mate Glazing Putty is a new premium solvent free acrylic, developed for glazing timber and metal frames. The re-launch of the Mate range will be supported with new POS and an extensive trade PR and advertising campaign, plus regional radio advertising.
