Will McGill caught up with Vitalii Morgun, CEO of Buildstop LTD, which trades as MGN Builders Merchants, as it opened its newest branch.
n the 1960s, Orpington made headlines with “The Orpington Man,” a term coined for the suburban voters who overturned the political status quo in a shock by- election. Today, change is once again in the air, but this time, it’s MGN making waves. With its newest branch now open, independent builders merchant MGN brings its service and expertise to Orpington, ready to support local tradespeople and businesses. Having started as a family-run business, MGN has grown steadily by adapting to the evolving needs of its customers. “We have three branches across London, ensuring easy access to our high-quality products at honest prices,” explains Vitalii Morgun, CEO of Buildstop LTD (trading as MGN Builders Merchants).

The merchant operates a fleet of 12 HGV lorries and 10 vans, enabling it to complete deliveries promptly and efficiently. It also offers an online platform for quick and easy product selection via its website.
“Our team has grown to just under 100 employees, including a multilingual sales team fluent in Russian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Latvian, Ukrainian, and English. This gives us a competitive edge in serving London’s diverse, multicultural community.”
